Longer than a standard key, usually an hour to ninety minutes, because both entry and start need programming. Some newer premium systems need the car at the unit, and we will say so first.
Do match days really slow you down?
They do. The bridges fill up for a couple of hours either side. We give you a realistic arrival time rather than the usual one.
Can you stop keyless theft?
We cannot change how the car’s system works, but a signal-blocking pouch for the fob defeats most relay attacks. It is covered in our advice pages.
